Supply and installation of more than 2,000 Native Trees 2008

Sandhill Environmental was awarded the 3 year term contract to supply and install native trees at the WMA.  The first year of the contract, Sandhill's challenge was to complete the planting project during one of the driest months of the year.  An important part of the contract was our warrantee.  We needed these trees to survive the toughest planting conditions.  We used a unique soil amendment technology that keeps moisture where it's needed near plant roots.  Quality tree material grown in our nursery, combined with proper, timely installation and supplemental watering events Sandhill not only completed the project on time, but had a near 100% survival at the end of the warrantee period.  Not a single tree had to be replaced.
